3/16" (4.8mm) Round Tube

Round tube precision extruded in white butyrate plastic.

Useful not for just model building, but also for building prototypes. Build frameworks or run cable or wires through them. Butyrate is more pliable than ABS plastic, yet durable. One thing I like about these tubes is that they will telescope inside each other with a snug fit.

We recommend Bondene when gluing this material to itself. When gluing to wood or paper white glue is a good choice. A medium viscosity CA glue will work for most other purposes. It's always good to keep a few different adhesives in your tool box. Make precision cuts with a razor saw.

For years I've been using these tubes as the "bones" for the doll characters I create. Kit Kraft is the only place that carries them. I am so glad this amazing store is still around!
